Bottom Bay and Coco Hill Forest barbados
From golden shores and turquoise seas to colourful canopies of a tropical forest.
Today’s drone tour serves up a delicious contrast…. surf and turf, Barbados style!
We take flight from the clifftop, where Bottom Bay spreads out below us in all its glory. Swaying palms, golden sands, and turquoise seas create the quintessential Caribbean postcard scene. Atlantic waves roll in rhythmically, creating ribbons of foamy white surf along the shoreline.
In a flash, we switch scenes to Coco Hill Forest in the heart of the island, where more palms wave their fronds in welcome. A bit of clever reverse flying reveals the majestic scale and lush beauty of this tropical forest.
Returning to the bay, a gentle aerial spin reminds us of the natural splendor waiting at every turn.
Before you know it, we’re back at Coco Hill, where the brilliant orange blooms of African Tulip trees create striking pops of color against the verdant green canopy below. From this vantage point, we can truly appreciate just how tall these stately palm trees stand!
As our aerial exploration dances between land and sea, we get to appreciate the distinct beauty of each, and the rich natural bounty they both hold. Pretty impressive for a tiny island of just 166 square miles!
