Carlisle Bay barbados

Other than being there, a drone view is the best way to experience this spectacular Barbados beach and marine park!

Starting out at the southern end of Carlisle Bay we soar north along the coast, capturing the waves gently breaking onto a pristine sandy shore.

Catamarans and dive boats come into view, our first clue that there’s something special under these warm, clear waters. These will later be revealed to be shipwrecks teeming with marine life! One of my favourite aspects of this footage is how it captures the turquoise colour of the water surrounding Barbados.

Spinning around the drone brings into focus the Barbados Hilton hotel and the jetty of the Radisson Hotel, both wonderful places to stay on the island.

And towards the end of the video inland views showcase Government Headquarters, a cricket field (homeland of the Right Excellent Sir Garfield Sobers, one of Barbados’ national heroes and cricket’s greatest ever all-rounder), St. Paul Anglican Church, and the Historic Garrison (part of our UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Overall an impressive aerial view of Carlisle Bay and surrounding areas. Well done once again by the Above Barbados team.
