Hilton Barbados Resort
Beachfront rooms, a meandering pool, sandy shores, and historic Carlisle Bay!
Our drone flight begins from a beachfront room at the Hilton Barbados Resort, swooping out over the balcony to soar above the beach at Needham’s Point. In the quiet of early morning, before most guests have stirred, the scene is wonderfully serene, even a bit of Sargassum seaweed can’t diminish the tranquility of this stunning location.
Panning briefly to the left, we catch a glimpse of Drill Hall Beach. A morning stroll in this direction will take you to the south coast boardwalk. It’s a wonderful way to start your day.
As we glide alongside the hotel, the resort’s outdoor pool comes into view, meandering gracefully through the property. Guests here enjoy the best of both worlds: sweeping ocean vistas and pool views, all from their private balcony.
In the distance, historic Carlisle Bay stretches out before us. This bay played a crucial role in colonial times, serving as an anchorage for both merchant and naval vessels. Charles Fort once stood on this very spot, and today you can still explore its remnants as well as the well-maintained Needham’s Point Lighthouse.
Switching to an overhead view, the soft sandy shores are revealed. Gently swaying palms, inviting beach loungers, and that unmistakable Caribbean calm. Beyond the poolside restaurant, on the sun-drenched pool deck, more loungers and umbrellas await. What lucky guests, getting to experience this wonderful beachfront resort.
