Pebbles Beach barbados

We take flight just offshore alongside historic Charles Fort, a reminder of the intense fortifications built by the British to repel other colonial powers. From this aerial perspective we can spy several of the old cannon in the sea just below the wall, while others remain steadfast.

Leaving the fort we fly north along the coastline towards Pebbles Beach, passing over the abandoned jetty along the way.

It is early morning but the racehorses from the nearby stables have already arrived with their grooms for a sea bath which provides exercise and therapy for the horses. This has become a popular activity for locals & visitors to observe as evidenced by the crowing crowd below us.

Pebbles Beach is overlooked by the magnifient Raddison Aquatica Resort, with its sleek lines contrasting beautifully with the natural beauty of the surroundings. Guests enjoy beachfront access and wonderful views of Carlisle Bay.

With a gentle spin we look south along the beach before flying in closer over the turquoise water and watch the horses swimming gracefully in the warm water. Our drone tour ends as some horses head back onshore while others continued their aquatic adventure.
